She continues to broaden her knowledge through a broad scope of general dentistry continuing education courses each year with a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and, more recently, restorative sleep dental medicine.
She resides in Oak Ridge, North Carolina, with her two children. In her free time, you can usually find her attending band competitions and supporting her son, who is a skillful All-District
an award-winning drummer or at UNC-Chapel Hill sporting events cheering on her daughter, a collegiate cheerleader for the Tarheels, and a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Health Professional Honor Society treatment plans.
After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1996 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, I began my career as a dental hygienist in the south, where the weather was warmer and the people and the tea was always sweet. Over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed helping people with their oral health needs.
In 2017, I attended my first dental sleep medicine conference, and my expertise in the field has expanded ever since. Being a sufferer of a debilitating sleep disorder myself, I understand how critical quality sleep is to our overall health and well-being. I am committed to providing patients with quality, compassionate, comprehensive care. I enjoy spending time with my family, our dog, and our church in my spare time. I have a love for the outdoors and the mountains. When not working with patients, you can often find me skiing, hiking, traveling, doing pilates, or working around the house.
